STUFF™ collaborates with contemporary artist and art therapist Charlotte Alldis
Charlotte Alldis is an emerging contemporary Australian artist who lives on Wurundjeri country. Her expressive paintings are technicolour scenes that radiate energy and playfulness.
Both figurative and abstract, Charlotte’s dreamscapes invite viewers to escape real worlds and indulge in imagination and fantasy.
At STUFF™ we love the energy and possibility in Charlotte’s works, and also how Charlotte uses the practice of creating art as an outlet for processing challenging experiences and feelings in a way that feels safe and empowering.
We worked with Charlotte on adaptation of her Matters of the Heart painting to adorn our latest collection of limited edition STUFF™ gift boxes. This work was created for Charlotte’s “Sense of Self” exhibition at the Michael Reid Northern Beaches gallery, which she describes as “a mixture of nostalgia and therapy, my refuge to explore my innermost workings, a reparative practice where the duality of playfulness and grief coexist. What you witness is a bursting of feelings, a place full of chaos, hope, joy and grief, a window into the journey.”
And don’t we all need some of that in these current times? Check out more at @charlottealldis and charlottealldis.com, or grab yourself a limited edition STUFF™ bundle gift boxed in Charlotte’s magic while stocks last.
